Resort Profile:                      Set amidst lush landscapes and Atlantic beachfront shores, Ponte Vedra Inn & Club has toted the reputation as the “grand dame” of North Florida resorts since 1928. Location:                                  Ponte Vedra Inn & Club is situated in North Florida, 22 miles southeast of Jacksonville and 26 miles north of historic St. Augustine. The resort is 31 miles (a 40-minute drive) from Jacksonville International Airport, which is served by all major airlines.

 

Climate:                                     Semi-tropical climate that exhibits seasonal changes. Average daytime temperature for spring and summer months is 81 degrees Fahrenheit. Average daytime temperature for fall and winter months is 68 degrees Fahrenheit.

Restaurants

& Lounges:                               Seahorse Grille – The signature restaurant at Ponte Vedra Inn & Club, the Seahorse Grille offers dramatic ocean views from atop the Surf Club. The Seahorse Grille is an upscale but casual dining and cocktail experience. The Chef’s culinary styles reflect boldly inspired flavors and an artfully imaginative menu.  Favorite dishes include the Oven Roasted Pacific Halibut with Buckwheat Soba Noodles and Ginger Miso Broth; Vegetable Pasta with Sundried Tomato Pesto and Crispy Kale; and Surf n’ Turf with Grilled Filet Mignon and Maine Lobster Tail. Open daily from 6-10pm and from 11am-2pm on Sunday’s brunch.

 

                                                        Seafoam Dining Room (open seasonally) – Featuring a sophisticated menu of European and Continental culinary favorites, the Seafoam Dining Room sports oversized oceanfront windows revealing surf and beach below, a vaulted ceiling, cozy fireplace, oil paintings and rich, dark wood throughout. The Chef earns a gastronomic gold star for his artistic blending of textures and flavors. A distinguished wine list is also available. Jackets are required for gentlemen, ties encouraged. The Seafoam Dining Room seats 45 guests and is open for dinner Saturdays 6 – 10pm.  

 

                                                        Inn Dining Room – Open for breakfast from 7 am – 10:30 am, the Inn Dining Room features a full breakfast buffet in addition to its a-la-cart menu.

 

                                                        Seahorse Grille Bar – Cocktails with a modern vibe, this lively oceanfront bar and lounge boasts a chic atmosphere, smart décor, and popular drink list. Live music is featured most evenings.

 

                                                        The Tavern – Adjacent to the main lobby, the recently renovated Tavern boasts a full bar, five HDTVs, a pool table and more. The 3,000 sq ft Tavern features new luxury fixtures and furnishings, accent artwork and dramatic lighting to complement an eclectic bar and small plates menu.

 

                                                        Golf Club Restaurant – Overlooking Ponte Vedra’s lagoon and famous “Island 9th” golf hole, the Golf Club restaurant provides a casual and colorful atmosphere for lunch and dinner. The picturesque setting is complemented with an appetizing menu of soups, salads and specialty sandwiches for lunch. The popular and diverse dinner menu features a wonderful selection of steaks, local seafood and daily specials.
