COVID-19 Update

Ponte Vedra Beach Resorts’, Ponte Vedra Inn & Club and The Lodge & Club, are currently welcoming guests back to our sparkling shores. We have had questions about the resort and how we will continue to make the facilities safe for our guests. In accordance with CDC guidelines, we are strongly encouraging our guests to wear face coverings in the resort's common areas, upon check-in/out, and arrival at the dining establishments.

What is your team doing to keep the resorts and rooms safe?

At this time, to keep contact minimal and health and safety top-of-mind, we are not offering daily guest room cleaning services (including turndown service). If you need fresh towels or linens, our team will happily bring them to your door in a bag. To replace magazines and newspapers, we are offering 7,000 complimentary reads in 16 languages through the PressReader app.

We have made some changes to our rooms to maintain a safer environment. For the time being, we have removed all silverware, glassware, printed magazines, and decorative pillows from all rooms. We have replaced documents such as menus with disposable, paper versions. All bedding pillows are washed after each guest. Each guest room is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized using CDC-approved, hospital-grade products after each stay, with a comprehensive cleaning and inspection list.

Are all the amenities available at both resorts?

This is a gradual reopening—not all amenities will be available immediately. The following outlines what is open and what is not at both Ponte Vedra Inn & Club and The Lodge & Club:

Family Pool
Family Pool is available with a reservation daily:
9 a.m. - 9 p.m. in two sessions:
9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
2:30 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Each session allows for a 30 minute sanitation cleaning.

Two lap lanes are by reservation only and two lanes will be available on a first come first served basis.

The Spa is accepting appointments for hair, nail services, massage, and facials. Locker rooms, dining, and the pool are open; however, steam room, sauna and hot tubs will remain closed.

Beach and Beach Rentals are open.

Fitness classes

Are dining options available on the resorts?

Food service is available for our guests. Regular hours will be in place for the following at Ponte Vedra Inn & Club:

  • The Inn Dining Room*
  • The Tavern
  • Golf Club Dining Room*

Hours are as follows at The Lodge & Club:

  • The Oasis – 11:30 a.m. – 8 p.m. daily (weather permitting).
  • The Sea View Grille*
    • Breakfast from 7 - 10:30 a.m.
    • Lunch from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
    • Dinner from 5 - 9 p.m.

Limited dining options will be available through Room Service. All delivery food items come in to-go containers. Other dining options remain closed.

Have you implemented any new staff policies and procedures to keep things clean and safe?

While you have been away (or waiting to visit), our team has been busy making sure our picturesque properties are ready for your return. We stand ready to provide the warm, gracious hospitality we are known for, all while keeping you safe and healthy. Sanitizer stations are available throughout our lobbies and other high traffic areas. We also have additional handwashing stations for staff and have implemented new protocols that include more frequent handwashing in all departments, for all positions.

Social distancing and frequent handwashing are key to defending our staff and guests against illness, and when social distancing is not entirely possible (for example, in the lobbies and other high traffic areas), our team members are required to wear masks (as per the CDC’s recommendation of masks as a protective measure for others vs. oneself). Additionally, team members (depending on role and responsibility) will wear gloves, when appropriate. All vendors are also required to wear a mask and gloves when on our property.

Beyond masks, social distancing, and increased handwashing, our team members and vendors will undergo temperature and health scans prior to entering the resorts.

Will I face any issues travelling into the state?

We encourage all guests to review all federal, state, and local permitted traveler guidance before making reservations. Guidance is frequently updated, so be sure to have the most accurate, up-to-date information.

Are shops open on the resorts?

All shops are open at both resorts.

Do you expect any other changes on the resorts?

We are very grateful to be able to adapt and adhere to new guidelines from the World Health Organization (WHO), U.S., as well as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local authorities. This situation is fluid and we will constantly be monitoring the landscape and looking at ways to enhance safety in the coming days and weeks. We will continue to garner insight and monitor outside organizations, and of course, listen to our members and guests. We are ready to adjust and adapt accordingly, and more importantly, quickly. As guidelines and recommendations change on a local, state and federal level, we will update our website and provide as much information as possible to current and future guests and members.
